Photo of the day. Our air terminal building is at the end of the world.

In 2019, the regional division of Avrial Group in Novokuznetsk carried out the manufacture and supply of a block-modular building for the Krasnoyarsk Airports federal state enterprise on Dikson Island. Dixon is called "the end of the world", it is the northernmost settlement in Russia.

The total area of the two-storey service and passenger terminal was 864 sq. meters. The building with dimensions of 24x18m consists of 48 block modules with dimensions of 6x3m, located in two tiers of 24 block modules. 4 vestibules with dimensions of 4.5x2 m are attached to the main building.

The airport has a waiting room, rooms for passengers with children, police, and border control officers. It houses all the services that ensure the operation of the airport and passenger services. A kitchen, bathrooms, and shower rooms are equipped for airport employees. The module is heated by an autonomous diesel boiler room, and the sewerage system is carried out by a biological treatment station.
